Amazing $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

Entry Level

The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, includes only four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension with isometric views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping comprises 760 pages for beginners and "power users" alike, full of tips and tutorials for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for cartography beginners since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal on any platform, the applications only function with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief.
